Rates
Sesions rates are typically based on 50-minute sessions.  Fees vary based on personal circumstances.  Please discuss with Dr. Gietzen if you need to have your personal financial circumstances considered in setting your fee.   Though Dr. Gietzen is not obligated to provide reduced-fee therapy she typcially makes exceptions for situations such as being a full-time student, or seeking therapy to satisfy educational or institutional requirements. 

Insurance
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

• Do I have mental health benefits?
• What is my deductible and has it been met?
• How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
• How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
• Is approval required from my primary care physician?
• Are there future risks for using health insurance for mental health care?

 Payment
Cash and checks are accepted in the office at the time of visit.  All major credit cards accepted for payment through the use of PayPal online.  Payment is expected within one week after sessions have occured unless other arrangements have been made.  If a balance of more than two sessions remains, therapy will be postponed until the balance is paid.

Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay half of the cost of the treatment as booked.
