Dr. Christina L. Gietzen-Haraden, PsyD

With over 30 years experience as a clinician and executive coach, and a graduate of the California School of Professional Psychology specializing in family studies, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are Depression, Anxiety, Relationships, Addiction and Recovery, Guilt/Grief/Loss, Stress, Life-Transitions, working with High-Functioning/Gifted Individuals, Group Therapy for Women, and Executive Coaching.

Dr. Christina Gietzen is a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. She incorporates a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals. She has also worked with several San Diego based business CEO's and executives incorporating her training and experience to support Workplace Wellness initiatives.

Dr. Christina Gietzen is native to San Diego, is married to another San Diego native, and raised two San Diego native boys along with several dogs along the way.  She has volunteered on several San Diego Unified local school committees and is involved in providing service to other San Diego non-profits.  She is also a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
